to realize the C5 is faster then a stock TT. This alsomost sounds like soem of the guys at other forums who swear they can hang with or even beat Vipers off the line with 500 worth of mods. It does not happen!!! Love the car? Great! Will always be an owner of one? Perfect! But base information on reality not what your heart wishes were the case. I'm not trying to flame you at all and apprecaite a fellow Z'ers input but while I don't own a C5 I have driven them and know for a fact the on three occasions three different C5's were dyno'ed at 345 HP, and did the track in milford at 4.8 seconds from a standing start until they reached 60 MPH. These were not beefed up cars (one guy just bought his from Les Stanford Chevy dealorship and used the facilities on his off day for kicks). A TT in its stock form only makes 300 HP (less when tansffered to the rear wheels) and cannot make it to 60 within the same amount of time. As for the qaurter mile the information is the same. The C5 is faster!!! I think one looks better if they realize that the Z is not the fasest car in the sub-45k (as new) car arena and not give information that is totally incorrect simply because they want that information to be as they want it to be!!! Again I am NOT flaming you or anyone else because of what you think. But, you would have to admit the person posting has a right to know all the facts and the truth when he is getting an answer!
